With the unbelievable success of the first Annual MOMENTUM Conference fresh in our minds we have scheduled MOMENTUM 2012 for March 30 – April 1, 2012. MOMENTUM was created as a way for the sex-positive community to discuss different expressions of sexuality, relationships and feminism. We offer a safe place to learn about sexualities and gender, with a strong appreciation for the diversity of our members, including those in the LGBTQ, sex-work, BDSM and non-monogamous communities.

The 2011 conference sold out to a crowd of 250. The final keynote presentation featuring Tristan Taormino and Susie Bright packed the ballroom with our attendees as well as members of the public. This year MOMENTUM opens with a keynote plenary featuring sexuality luminaries, Charlie Glickman Ph.D, Logan Levkoff Ph.D, Audacia Ray and Bill Taverner. These stellar panelists will be moderated by the legendary Dr. Carol Queen. To end our 2012 proceedings, our closing plenary features three of the boldest thinkers in sexuality today; Esther Perel, Cindy Gallop and Lara Riscol.

Our website, which included live-blogging throughout the events, received 2500+ hits per day during the conference and continues to be active with a forum and news.

For 2012 we’re thrilled to announce over 60 presenters and over 40 sessions – plus entertainment! Additionally, a much-larger venue will allow us to expand our registration to 400 – 450 sex-positive, tech-savvy people, most of whom are tied into large, vibrant social media communities. Last year we loved seeing conversations from our sessions move past the confines of conference rooms and into thousands of blog posts, Facebook mentions, and Tweets. We can’t wait to see what comes out of #MCON 2012!
